PREREQUISITES

We designed this program to build upon the fundamental knowledge detailed in our Foundations Web-Based Training Modules. You must be “Apex” Certified in you respective role at least one week prior to departing for your session.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Discover the All-New 2026 Subaru Outback

Come ON ASSIGNMENT to experience firsthand how the evolution, innovation, and refinement come together in the all-new 2026 Outback.

  • Session assignments are based on your Zone:
    • Group A: Atlanta, DC Area, Orlando, Philadelphia,  Chicago, Columbus, Minneapolis, Subaru Distributors Corp., Subaru of New England
    • Group B: Group B: California North, California South, Denver, Portland, Chicago, DFW
  • Availability is limited – REGISTER TODAY!
  • Sessions are held daily from November 3, 2025 thru November 21, 2025.
  • Arrival:
    • Group A: Arrival and check-in are required by 4:00 PM
    • Group B: Arrival and check-in are required by 10:00 PM
  • A full schedule will be provided upon check-in.
  • Attendees must be 21 years of age to drive and will be required to present a valid driver’s license at Registration to participate in the driving exercises. Those unable to present a valid driver’s license will be limited to riding as a passenger during the driving exercises.
  • Retailers will be assessed a cost of $650 per attendee. An additional $250 no-show fee (for a total of $900) will be assessed to registered associates who fail to provide 24 hours’ notice of their absence. Changes or rescheduling will require approval from your Zone Retailer Training Manager.
  • Per local posted government and venue regulations, this is a 100% smoke-free program. Smoking or vaping is also not permitted in Subaru program vehicles or while on-site at the drive training location. There is a designated smoking area at Hotel MdR that attendees are asked to use respectfully. Thank you for helping us represent Subaru in the spirit of the Love Promise!
  • Attendees will receive a confirmation email with complete details closer to your selected session date. Hotel accommodation for one night and all meals are provided, along with transfers from the arrival airport to your hotel.

FAQ

I need to make changes to my Registration, what do I do?

Your Zone Retailer Training Manager should be the first point of contact to request any changes. We will do our very best to accommodate these requests. Late changes may result in additional fees charged to the retailer due to re-booking and/or cancellation charges.

How do I schedule my flight?

For those participants outside of the four-hour drive radius, your air travel is included. All travel details will be confirmed when you complete the online Registration process provided above. You will be contacted by Subaru Training Events Team with final flight arrangements.

Can I extend my flight itinerary for personal travel?

No. Flight bookings will be made for the duration of the event. Unfortunately, due to tight travel logistics, we are unable to accommodate personal travel requests.

I will be driving to the event since I am within four hours of the event location. What is the policy for mileage reimbursement?

We will not be reimbursing mileage, gas, tolls, etc. Please check with your manager on coverage per your Retailer’s Business Travel Policies.

Do I have to cover my own costs to and from my home airport? Or is Subaru reimbursing me?

We will not be reimbursing airport travel fees – Ride Share, mileage, gas, tolls, etc. Please check with your manager on coverage per your Retailer’s Business Travel Policies.

Is Subaru providing overnight lodging?

This is a two-day program with overnight accommodations provided in Marina del Rey, along with transfers from LAX to the hotel. A reservation will be arranged for you after Registration confirmation, as overnight accommodation will be covered for one-night as part of your participation. No need to book or pay for your own lodging.

Is parking complimentary?

Parking is available at the hotel for $30 + tax. Please check with your manager on coverage per your Retailer’s Business Travel Policies.

What should I bring?

  1. Charged smartphone and charging cord
  2. Valid driver’s license
  3. Appropriate close-toed shoes and clothing – you will not be able to drive without appropriate footwear

What should I wear to the event?

We love seeing your “Subaru Smart Casual” attire – like jeans, with no tears, or shorts, at or below the knee, paired with your favorite Subaru gear or shirt. Training will be held indoors and outdoors, so check the weather before arrival. Closed-toed shoes are required to participate in driving activities.

Do I need a smartphone for this event?

You will need your smartphone for interactive mobile activities. Charging stations will be available, but please arrive with a fully charged smartphone.

Will I have WiFi access?

WiFi will be available at the hotel training location. However, cellular service may be unavailable during portions of the off-road driving activities.
